From the city center of Bruges, make your way to the Markt square. Locate the Belfry Tower as your starting point. From the Belfry Tower, head east on Breidelstraat. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Zuidzandstraat. Turn left onto Zuidzandstraat. Walk straight until you arrive at the intersection with Scheepsdalelaan, where you will turn right. Follow the road until you see the signs for the train station. From there, take a train towards Ghent. Once you arrive at Ghent station, exit and head towards the tram stop. Take tram line 1 towards 'Groot-Begijnhof' and get off at the 'Sint-Michielsplein' stop. You will find Sint-Michielsplein right in front of you.

Start at the central bus station in Bruges, located near the train station. Look for the bus stop labeled 'Brugge Station'. Take bus number 5, which travels directly to Ghent. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ghent bus station, exit the bus and follow the signs for public transport, specifically the tram.
