Public Transportation - Water Taxi
To reach Sea horses located at 1 Pasero Street, first take a water taxi to San Pedro from the mainland. Water taxis operate regularly from Belize City to San Pedro, with tickets costing approximately $20 USD one way. Once you arrive at the San Pedro dock, exit the water taxi and head south on Barrier Reef Drive. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Pasero Street. Turn left onto Pasero Street, and you will find Sea horses on your left. The entire journey from Belize City to Sea horses will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Car Rental
If you are renting a golf cart (the primary mode of land transport on Ambergris Caye), start by heading south on the main road from your accommodation. Continue along the coast on the main road, which is known as Barrier Reef Drive. After approximately 1.5 miles, look for the turnoff to Pasero Street. Turn left onto Pasero Street, and you will find Sea horses on your left side. Ensure you have cash on hand for fuel and any parking fees, which can vary.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in San Pedro, walking to Sea horses is a delightful option. Start from the center of San Pedro town, head south on Barrier Reef Drive, enjoying the views along the beach. After about a 15-20 minute walk, you will reach the intersection with Pasero Street. Turn left onto Pasero Street, and Sea horses will be on your left. This is a great way to experience the local atmosphere and culture.
