From Belize City, drive west on the George Price Highway (Western Highway) towards San Ignacio. Once in San Ignacio, continue on the George Price Highway and follow signs towards the town of Benque Viejo del Carmen. From Benque Viejo, take the Western Highway south for about 8 miles until you reach the turnoff for Xunantunich. Follow the signs to the parking area and then walk uphill to the ruins.

From Benque Viejo, you can hire a taxi or walk to the turnoff for Xunantunich on the Western Highway. Follow the signs to the parking area and then walk uphill to the ruins.
