Car
From Belize City, take the George Price Highway (Western Highway) heading west. Continue on this highway for approximately 30 miles (48 km) until you reach the junction sign for the village of San Ignacio. Turn left onto the road leading to San Ignacio. After around 5 miles (8 km), you will see a sign for Barton Creek Cave Reserve on your left. Turn left onto the road leading to the reserve. Follow this road for about 2 miles (3.2 km) until you reach the entrance to the reserve. There is a parking area available.

From Belize City, you can take a bus from the Belize City Bus Terminal to San Ignacio. Buses depart regularly, and the journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in San Ignacio, you will need to take a taxi or local shuttle to Barton Creek Cave Reserve. Inform the driver that you want to go to Barton Creek Cave Reserve. The taxi ride will take about 20-30 minutes and should cost around $20-25 BZD. Ensure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
