From Belize City, take the George Price Highway (Western Highway) heading west. Continue on this highway for approximately 30 miles (48 km) until you reach the junction sign for the village of San Ignacio. Turn left onto the road leading to San Ignacio. After around 5 miles (8 km), you will see a sign for Barton Creek Cave Reserve on your left. Turn left onto the road leading to the reserve. Follow this road for about 2 miles (3.2 km) until you reach the entrance to the reserve. There is a parking area available.
