Car
From Caracol, head south on the main road (Caracol Road). After approximately 18 kilometers, you will reach the junction with the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway). Turn left onto the George Price Highway. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the town of San Ignacio. Once in San Ignacio, look for signs directing you to Chial Road. Turn right onto Chial Road, and the Belize Botanic Gardens will be on your left. Parking is available on-site, and there are no additional costs for parking.
Public Transportation
If you're traveling by public transportation, start by taking a bus from Caracol to San Ignacio. Buses are available throughout the day, and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in San Ignacio, you can either walk or take a taxi to Chial Road. If walking, head southeast on Burns Avenue until you reach the junction with Chial Road, then turn right. The Belize Botanic Gardens is a short walk from there. Alternatively, taxi fares from San Ignacio to the gardens typically range from BZD 10 to BZD 20, depending on your negotiation.
