Car
To drive from Caracol to Chabil Mar Villas in Placencia, start by heading south on the Belize-Cayo Road. Follow this road for about 40 minutes until you reach the junction with the Southern Highway. Turn left onto the Southern Highway and continue for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes until you reach the Placencia Road junction. Turn right onto Placencia Road and follow it for around 10 miles. You will see signs for Placencia Village. Once in the village, continue to follow the signs until you reach 2284 Placencia Peninsula Road, where Chabil Mar Villas is located. Be prepared for a scenic drive but note that some roads may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

From Caracol, take a local bus heading to San Ignacio. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. Once in San Ignacio, transfer to a bus heading to Dangriga. This leg will take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. After arriving in Dangriga, you will need to catch another bus heading to Placencia. This final leg will take about 30-45 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Placencia Village. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Chabil Mar Villas at 2284 Placencia Peninsula Road. Expect to pay around $1-2 USD for each bus ride and around $5-10 USD for a taxi from the village.
