Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the north of Belize, take the Philip Goldson Highway (Hwy 1) south towards Belize City. Continue on the highway until you reach the junction with the Southern Highway (Hwy 2). Turn right onto the Southern Highway and follow it for about 60 miles until you reach Placencia. Once in Placencia, follow the main road until you see Harbour Pl N. Blue Water Sailing will be located on this street.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from your location in Northern Belize to Belize City. From Belize City, transfer to a bus heading to Placencia. Buses to Placencia are frequent, and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Placencia, you may need to take a taxi or walk to Harbour Pl N, where Blue Water Sailing is located.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to walk from the Placencia bus terminal to Blue Water Sailing, you can take a taxi. Taxis are readily available outside the bus terminal, and the fare to Harbour Pl N will be relatively inexpensive, usually around $5-10 USD depending on your negotiation skills and the distance to your exact destination.
