    Start your journey in Caracol, Belize. Head south on the road leading out of Caracol, which will connect you to the Western Highway (Hummingbird Highway). Follow the road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Western Highway. Turn left onto the Western Highway heading north. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you see the sign for Crooked Tree. Turn right onto the road that leads to Crooked Tree Village. The sanctuary is located near the end of this road, at PFM7+W53. Ensure to keep an eye out for signs indicating the wildlife sanctuary.

    From Caracol, you can take a local bus heading towards Belize City. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Crooked Tree. This bus ride will typically cost around $5 BZD.
