    From Caracol, head south on the Belize-Guatemala border road (also known as the Caracol Road). Continue driving for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with the Hummingbird Highway. Turn right onto the Hummingbird Highway heading towards Belmopan. Follow the Hummingbird Highway for about 20 miles until you reach the town of Belmopan. In Belmopan, take the road towards the Western Highway and drive towards the coastal town of San Pedro. This is a longer route and may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on road conditions. Once in San Pedro, follow signs to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, located at 2 Barrier Reef Drive.

    To travel by public transportation, first find a local bus or shuttle service in Caracol heading to Belmopan. The bus will take you to the bus terminal in Belmopan.
