Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the main dock in Caye Caulker. Head south along the main road (Avenue). Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the southern end of the island. You'll pass several local shops and restaurants on your way. Once you reach the end of the road, take a left at the fork and continue walking towards the Split. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea while you walk. After reaching the Split, you will need to take a water taxi to Belize City. The water taxi station is located near the Split. Purchase a ticket for Belize City (approximately 45 minutes). Upon arrival in Belize City, disembark and walk towards the main road. Government House is located at 71 Regent Street, approximately a 10-minute walk from the water taxi terminal. Head east on the main road (Regent Street) until you see Government House on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops on Caye Caulker. Start from the main dock and ride south along the main road (Avenue). Continue for about 15 minutes until you reach the southern end of the island. From there, ride towards the Split. Once you reach the Split, park your bicycle and board a water taxi to Belize City. After arriving in Belize City, follow the same walking directions as above from the water taxi terminal to Government House.
