Getting There

  • Boat

    To get to the Museum of Belize from Caye Caulker, start by heading to the Caye Caulker water taxi terminal, located near the center of the island. Purchase a ticket for a water taxi to Belize City. The water taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Belize City terminal, disembark and exit the terminal. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the museum.

    After arriving at the Belize City water taxi terminal, exit the terminal and head west on North Front Street. Continue walking along North Front Street until you reach Eve Street. Turn left onto Eve Street and walk until you reach the Museum of Belize, located at 5 Eve St. The museum should be on your right.

  • Taxi

    Upon arrival at the Belize City water taxi terminal, you can also choose to take a taxi to the Museum of Belize. Look for available taxis outside the terminal. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Museum of Belize at 5 Eve St. The drive should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
