Getting There

Car
From Belmopan, take the Hummingbird Highway (Hwy 1) heading south. Continue for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with the Southern Highway (Hwy 2). Turn left onto the Southern Highway. After approximately 5 miles, look for the sign for Silk Grass Village. Turn right onto the road leading to Silk Grass. Follow the road for about 2 miles and you will see the entrance to Mayflower Bocawina National Park on your left.

Public Transportation
From Belmopan, take a bus headed to Dangriga. The bus will travel along the Hummingbird Highway. After about 30 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Silk Grass Village. From there, you can either walk (about 2 miles) or arrange for a local taxi to take you to Mayflower Bocawina National Park, which is located about 2 miles from the junction.

If you are in San Ignacio, take the George Price Highway (Hwy 1) heading east towards Belmopan. When you reach Belmopan, switch to the Hummingbird Highway (Hwy 1) heading south. Continue for about 30 miles, then turn left onto the Southern Highway (Hwy 2). After approximately 5 miles, turn right onto the road for Silk Grass Village. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance of Mayflower Bocawina National Park on your left.
