Getting There

• By Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto the Philip Goldson Highway (Highway 1), which connects various parts of Central Belize to Belize City. Continue driving towards Belize City until you reach the city limits. Once you enter Belize City, follow the signs towards the Tourism Village. Take a right onto Fort Street, and you will find Belize Tours located at the Tourism Village Animal Park. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan accordingly.

• By Bus

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from anywhere in Central Belize to Belize City. Buses frequently depart from major towns and villages, including San Ignacio and Belmopan. Simply ask the bus driver to drop you off at the Belize City bus terminal. Once you arrive at the bus terminal, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Tourism Village. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the terminal. Head southeast on West Street, then turn right onto Fort Street to reach Belize Tours. Taxi fares from the bus terminal to the Tourism Village typically cost around $5-$10 BZD.

  If you're already in Belize City or nearby, you can hire a taxi to take you directly to Belize Tours. Taxis are available throughout the city, and you can either hail one on the street or call for a taxi service. The cost for a taxi ride from anywhere within Belize City to the Tourism Village usually ranges from $5 to $15 BZD, depending on the distance. Ensure to negotiate the fare before getting in or ask the driver to use the meter, if available.
