Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Belize City. Head north on the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as the Northern Highway) towards the town of Orange Walk. After about 30 miles, take the exit to the right towards the village of Crooked Tree. Follow the signs leading to Crooked Tree, which is approximately 10 miles off the highway. The sanctuary is located near the center of the village; look for the coordinates PFM7+W53. Be aware that some parts of the road may be unpaved, so drive carefully.

To reach Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary using public transport, take a bus from Belize City to Orange Walk. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Belize City. The fare is approximately $2-3 BZD. Upon arriving in Orange Walk, you will need to catch a local taxi or arrange for a minibus to Crooked Tree. The taxi fare should be around $20-25 BZD. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes.
