    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from Belmopan, take the Hummingbird Highway (Hummingbird Hwy/Belize 2) heading south. Follow the highway for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Southern Highway. Continue straight onto the Southern Highway. After about 10 kilometers, turn left onto the access road that leads to the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Follow the signs to the Jaguar Reserve Nature Center. The last stretch may involve unpaved roads, so proceed with caution.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Jaguar Reserve Nature Center using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Belmopan to Dangriga. Buses depart regularly from the bus terminal. Once you arrive in Dangriga, you will need to catch a taxi or a local shuttle to the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Taxis may charge around BZD 20-30 per person for the trip to the sanctuary. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, follow the signs to the Jaguar Reserve Nature Center.
