If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Punta Gorda. Head north on the Southern Highway (also known as the Belize Southern Highway), which is well-marked and easy to follow. Continue driving for approximately 18 miles (about 30 minutes). Look for signs indicating Big Falls; you will see the entrance to Living Maya Experience on your right side shortly after passing the Big Falls village. Make sure to watch for the entrance as it can be easy to miss. Parking is available on-site.

For travelers using public transportation, take a bus from Punta Gorda to Big Falls. Buses to Big Falls leave from the main bus terminal in Punta Gorda; ask for the bus heading toward Big Falls or ask locals for assistance. The bus ride will take around 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Big Falls, you may need to walk approximately 10 minutes along the Southern Highway to reach Living Maya Experience, as it is located just off the main road. Be sure to check the bus schedules for return trips.
