If you are driving, start from the nearest major town in the Coastal Plains, such as Corozal or Orange Walk. From Corozal, take the Northern Highway (Hummingbird Highway) and head south. After approximately 30 km, turn left onto the road leading to the village of San Felipe. Follow the signs to the Lamanai Archaeological Reserve. The road may become unpaved, so drive carefully. Once you reach the village of Water Bank, continue until you see signs for Lamanai. The archaeological reserve is located at Q87X+M4J, Water Bank.

You can take a bus from Corozal to Orange Walk. Buses run frequently, and the fare is typically around BZ$2. Once in Orange Walk, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the village of San Felipe.
