If you are driving from the main entrance of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, head southeast on the main road. Continue straight for approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) until you reach the junction with the Southern Highway. Take a right turn onto the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway) and continue for about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles). Look for the signs directing you to Cockscomb Basin Nature Reserve. The reserve will be located on your left, and you will need to follow the access road which leads directly into the reserve. Be aware that there may be a small entrance fee, typically around BZD $10, for visitors entering the nature reserve.

To reach Cockscomb Basin Nature Reserve via public transportation, start from the main visitor center in Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. You can take a local bus heading toward Placencia or Dangriga. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Cockscomb Basin entrance. From there, it is about a 2-mile walk to the reserve entrance, so be prepared for a bit of a hike.
