If you are driving to the Royal Flycatcher Trailhead from the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary's Jaguar Reserve Visitor Center, first exit the center and head southeast on the main road. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) until you see the sign for the Royal Flycatcher Trailhead on your right. Turn right and follow this road for another half mile (0.8 kilometers) until you reach the trailhead parking area.
