    If you are driving to the Royal Flycatcher Trailhead from the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary's Jaguar Reserve Visitor Center, first exit the center and head southeast on the main road. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) until you see the sign for the Royal Flycatcher Trailhead on your right. Turn right and follow this road for another half mile (0.8 kilometers) until you reach the trailhead parking area.

    Public Transportation

    To reach the Royal Flycatcher Trailhead via public transportation, you can take a local bus or taxi from the nearest town, which is Placencia. Once in Placencia, take a bus heading towards the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Jaguar Reserve Visitor Center. Once you arrive, the Royal Flycatcher Trailhead is a short 1.5-mile (2.4 kilometers) walk from the center. Head southeast on the main road until you see the trailhead sign on your right.
