If you are driving from Corozal Town, head south on the Philip Goldson Highway (Hwy 80) for about 8 miles (13 km). After reaching the roundabout at the junction with the road to Orange Walk, continue straight towards the village of Copper Bank. Once you arrive in Copper Bank, look for signs pointing to Cerros. The archaeological site is located at the coordinates 18.355826099999998, -88.35123279999999, which is around 2 miles (3.2 km) from the main road, requiring a short detour onto a dirt road. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain, as it can be bumpy. There may be a small parking fee at the site, so keep a few Belize dollars handy.

To reach Cerros via public transportation, start by taking a bus or shuttle from Corozal Town to the village of Copper Bank. Buses typically leave from the Corozal bus terminal and cost about BZD 2-3. Once you arrive in Copper Bank, you can either walk or hire a local taxi (approximately BZD 10-15) to take you the remaining distance to Cerros. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the archaeological site, as it may not be well marked. It's advisable to check the return bus schedule to avoid being stranded, as services may be infrequent.
