Getting There

    If you are driving from the main entrance of Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, head south on the main road for approximately 3 miles until you reach the junction with the Northern Highway (Philip Goldson Highway). Turn left onto the Northern Highway and continue for about 11 miles. You will see signs for San Ignacio. At the junction for San Ignacio, take the right fork and follow the signs leading you to San Ignacio. Continue on this road for about 10 miles until you see a sign for the Belize Raptor Center on your right. The center is located just off the main road, so look for a small drive leading to the entrance. Parking is available on-site.

    To reach Belize Raptor Center using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Crooked Tree to Belize City. From Crooked Tree, take a local bus to the nearest bus terminal in Belize City. Once in Belize City, switch to a bus heading towards San Ignacio. The bus ride will take approximately 2 hours. Upon arriving in San Ignacio, you can take a taxi from the bus terminal directly to the Belize Raptor Center. Make sure to confirm the taxi fare before getting in; it should be around $20-25 BZD. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes.
