Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the San Ignacio Town Center, head south on Burns Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street, where you will see local shops and restaurants. Turn left onto Main Street and walk for about 5 minutes. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road leading towards the Cahal Pech archaeological site. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you see Buena Vista Street on your right. Turn right onto Buena Vista Street, and The Old House Hostel will be located a short walk down the street at number 3.

• Taxi

  You can easily find a taxi in San Ignacio. Simply hail one at the Town Center or ask your hotel to call one for you. Tell the driver to take you to 3 Buena Vista Street. The ride should take about 5-7 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey, as some taxis may not use meters.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in San Ignacio. Start your ride from the Town Center and head south on Burns Avenue. Continue until you reach the intersection with Main Street and take a left. Follow Main Street to the roundabout, and take the first exit towards Cahal Pech. After about 10 minutes of cycling, look for Buena Vista Street on your right. Turn onto Buena Vista Street, and The Old House Hostel is located shortly at number 3.
