Car
If you're traveling by car from Glover's Reef Atoll, you will first need to take a boat back to the mainland, which typically departs from the nearest dock in the atoll. Once you reach the mainland, head to the nearest major road and drive towards Belize City. Follow the signs for the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway) and continue driving. Old Belize is located approximately 5.5 miles from the intersection of the George Price Highway and the Philip Goldson Highway. Look for the entrance on your right, which is well-marked.

Public Transportation
To reach Old Belize using public transportation from Glover's Reef Atoll, you will need to take a boat back to the mainland. Once you arrive at the mainland, head to the nearest bus terminal, where you can catch a bus heading towards Belize City. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off near the George Price Highway. From there, you may need to walk approximately 2-3 minutes to reach the entrance of Old Belize, which is located 5.5 miles down the highway. Keep some cash on hand for both the boat and bus fares, which can vary but are generally affordable.
