Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Hopkins village. Head east towards the beach, and follow the path along the shore. You will pass by several local shops and restaurants. After about 15 minutes of walking, keep an eye out for the road that leads away from the beach and towards the main highway. Turn left onto this road and continue walking for another 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Southern Highway.

At the intersection with the Southern Highway, look for local buses or taxis that might be heading toward Belize City. If you don’t see any taxis, it’s best to continue on foot along the highway. Be cautious and walk on the side facing oncoming traffic. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the town of Dangriga.
