If you are traveling by car from Lighthouse Reef Atoll to Old Belize, you will first need to arrange for a boat transfer to the mainland, as Lighthouse Reef is an atoll. The nearest major docking point is in Belize City. Once you arrive in Belize City, you can rent a car or use a taxi. From Belize City, take the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway) heading west. Continue driving for about 5.5 miles until you reach your destination on the right side of the highway.

For those using public transportation, you will need to take a boat from Lighthouse Reef Atoll to Belize City first. Once you arrive in Belize City, you can catch a bus heading towards San Ignacio or Belmopan from the main bus terminal. Inform the bus driver that you want to stop at Old Belize, which is located along the George Price Highway. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Make sure to carry some cash for the bus fare, which typically costs around $2 to $5 BZD (Belize Dollars).
