If you are driving from the center of Mountain Pine Ridge, head southeast on the Pine Ridge Road. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Hummingbird Highway. Turn right onto Hummingbird Highway and continue for another 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Turn left onto the access road marked X24C+Q4G, and follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the reserve. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations are limited in the area.

To reach Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from the nearest bus terminal in San Ignacio. Buses to Mountain Pine Ridge leave regularly, and the fare is approximately BZD 5. Inform the driver you want to get off at the entrance to the reserve. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along the access road X24C+Q4G to reach the main entrance of the reserve.
