Getting There

  To reach the Green Iguana Conservation Project using public transportation, you can take a bus from your location to San Ignacio. Buses frequently run from major towns in Northern Belize to San Ignacio.   If you are already in San Ignacio and would like to walk to the Green Iguana Conservation Project, start from the main square (Central Park). Head southwest on Burns Avenue and continue straight until you reach Buena Vista Street. Turn left onto Buena Vista Street, and you will find the project at number 18. This walk will take approximately 15 minutes.
