Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car from Belize City, head west on the George Price Highway (Hwy 1) towards Belmopan. After about 50 miles, exit onto the Hummingbird Highway (Hwy 2) heading south towards Dangriga. Continue for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction for the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Turn left onto the dirt road that leads into the reserve. Follow the signs to the various attractions within the reserve, keeping in mind that the roads can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
