If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Punta Gorda. Head north on the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway) for approximately 16 miles (25.7 km). Look for signs directing you to the Nim Li Punit Mayan Ruins. Turn right onto the access road that leads to the site. The ruins are located about 1 mile down this road. Be aware that the road can be unpaved and bumpy, so drive carefully.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Punta Gorda to the village of Indian Creek. The bus fare is typically around BZD 2-3 (USD 1-1.50). Upon arrival in Indian Creek, you can either walk (about 2 miles) to the ruins or hire a local taxi for approximately BZD 10-15 (USD 5-7.50). The taxi drivers are familiar with the area and will take you directly to the Nim Li Punit site.
