Car
From Orange Walk Town, head south on the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as Highway 1). Continue on this highway for about 20 miles (32 km) until you reach the junction for Crooked Tree Village. Turn left and follow the signs to Crooked Tree. Drive through the village until you reach the area indicated by the coordinates QFG9+F9H. The Audubon Society is located near this point. Parking may be available nearby, but it’s advisable to check local signage.
Public Transportation
To reach the Audubon Society via public transportation, start at the Orange Walk Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading towards Belize City or Crooked Tree. The fare is usually around BZD 5-10. Inform the driver you want to get off at Crooked Tree Village. Once you arrive, you may need to walk or take a local taxi to reach the Audubon Society (approximately 2 miles from the bus drop-off). Taxi fares may vary, so be sure to negotiate before the ride.
