Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Orange Walk Town. Head south on the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as Hummingbird Highway). Continue driving for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection for the Orange Walk - Corozal Road. Turn left at the intersection. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the town of Trial Farm. From Trial Farm, you will need to follow the signs to Water Bank. Once you are in Water Bank, look for the Q979+8J location on your GPS, which is the site of Dawson Creek Boat launch. Note that local road conditions may vary, and a 4WD vehicle is recommended during the rainy season.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Orange Walk Town to Corozal Town. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Orange Walk. Once you arrive in Corozal, you will need to take a local taxi or another bus heading to Water Bank. Make sure to inform the taxi driver that you are going to Dawson Creek Boat launch or to the Q979+8J location in Water Bank. The taxi ride might cost around $10-$15 BZD. Keep in mind that public transportation schedules may vary, so it's a good idea to check the latest timings.
Bicycle or Walking
For the adventurous, you can also consider biking or walking from Orange Walk Town. The distance is approximately 18 kilometers and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours by bicycle. Once you reach Water Bank, navigate to the Q979+8J location. Ensure you have plenty of water and wear appropriate gear due to the tropical climate.
