Shuttle
From Placencia, you can catch a shuttle service that operates regularly to Silk Grass. Look for the shuttle stand near the main entrance of the Placencia Village. The shuttles are generally marked and can be boarded based on the scheduled times. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off close to the Bocawina Rainforest Resort entrance.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Placencia. Head north along the main road leading out of Placencia. The ride to Silk Grass is around 10 miles and takes about an hour. Follow the signs towards Silk Grass, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated!

For the more adventurous and fit travelers, you can walk to Silk Grass. Start from the center of Placencia and head north along the beachfront road until you reach the main highway. Once you reach the highway, turn right and continue walking. It's about a 10-mile walk, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and take breaks as needed. Keep an eye out for local fauna and flora along the way!
