If you are starting from the San Ignacio Market, head south on Burns Avenue towards the junction with the main road. Turn left onto the main road (Hummingbird Highway) and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with 2 Armando Sabido Street. Turn right onto 2 Armando Sabido Street. Continue walking straight for about 2 minutes, and you will see Independence Park on your left at the corner of Guerra Street.

From the San Ignacio Tourist Center, walk down the road towards the junction of 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Burns Avenue. Turn right onto Burns Avenue, continue straight, and then take a left onto the main road. Walk for about 5 minutes until you come to the intersection with 2 Armando Sabido Street. Turn right and continue for about 2 minutes until you reach Independence Park on your left.
