Bus
From San Ignacio, walk to the main bus terminal located on the corner of Burns Avenue and West Street. Look for buses heading towards Belmopan or Belize City. The ride to the Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve area is approximately 30-45 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you are going to Nohoch Che'en and they will drop you off at the entrance of the reserve. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the visitor center.

Shared Shuttle
You can book a shared shuttle service from San Ignacio to Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch. Head to one of the local tour operators in San Ignacio, such as Cayo Adventure or MayaWalk Tours, and arrange your shuttle. The shuttle will pick you up from your accommodation and drop you off directly at the reserve's entrance, making the journey convenient and hassle-free.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and the weather permits, you can walk to Nohoch Che'en. Head out of San Ignacio towards the main highway (George Price Highway). Follow the highway for about 10 miles, and you will see signs for Nohoch Che'en. This option is not recommended due to the distance and lack of sidewalks, but it is possible for those who enjoy long walks.

Bicycle Rental
For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in San Ignacio. Head out towards the George Price Highway and cycle approximately 10 miles towards Belize City. Look for the signs indicating Nohoch Che'en on your left. This route will allow you to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, but remember to wear a helmet and stay safe.
