Cave Canoeing at Barton Creek Cave with Local Tour Guide
Experience Barton Creek with Rudy :)
Rudy Leal was our tour guide to the cave. During the ride to and from the cave Rudy detailed exquisitely the sights along the way with his knowledge of the local flora, the wildlife, the local history, and the traditions(current and past). Once we were at the cave he pointed out the cultural traditions, practices and history of the Mayan culture, the geologic formations in the cave as well as their religious significance. The trip back was not the normal everyone quietly sitting and looking around ride home but filled with his knowledge of interesting facts of lifestyles about San Ignacio. Rudy was very informative and made for a memorable and enjoyable trip. He is a human Wikipedia of local culture and history.

Great trip. Tip: leave earlier!
We had the best time! Ruwa Tours took excellent care of us and our guide, Eric, was amazing. The lunch was fantastic. I recommend asking for an earlier pick up time, as the cave can get crowded.

Great trip with Edwin and 3 couples
We had an absolutely wonderful experience in Belize thanks to our incredible driver and guide. From the moment we arrived, he was punctual, professional, and genuinely kind.
