More than just sightseeing, it was also educational
I was just simply looking for a way to stretch my legs after a long flight. But, this walking tour turned out to be perfect for exploring the town of San Pedro. Thanks to the guide, it was not just entertaining, but also an educational experience for me. I enjoyed walking the colorful streets and learning about how the town started from the 18th century as a fishing village transforming into a vibrant town it is today. At a small family-run bakery, I tried some fresh buns and sweet coconut tarts (simply delicious). For me, it was more than just a sightseeing activity.

Savor Belize Dinner Food Tour in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
Delicious eats and fun drinks!
The Savor dinner tour was a great introduction to San Pedro and Belizean food! Our group of 8 went on the tour the first night on the island. Jamel was our guide and he’s super knowledgeable about food and must-see places on the island. All six stops were unique and delicious. We had drinks at each one and food at the first four, with cigars and rum as the fifth stop and dessert as the sixth. Jamel explained each restaurant and dish based on its history and connection to the local culture. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get a taste of the island life!
