From Sarteneja, head south on the main road towards the junction at the entrance of the village. Continue straight for about 11 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road to Copper Bank. Turn right onto the road leading to Copper Bank. Continue for another 14 kilometers, following the signs for Copper Bank. As you approach Copper Bank, look for the sign indicating the turn-off for Cerros Mayan Ruins. Take this left onto a dirt road and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach the ruins. There is no parking fee, but you may need to pay an entrance fee of approximately $5 BZD per person.

In Sarteneja, look for a local bus heading towards Copper Bank. Buses typically leave from the main square or nearby bus stop. The fare is around $3 BZD. Once you arrive in Copper Bank, you will need to take a taxi to the Cerros Mayan Ruins. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should not exceed $10 BZD for the short ride. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the ruins. Remember to ask the driver to wait for you, as public transport back to Copper Bank may not be frequent.
