From Sarteneja, head south on the main road towards Corozal Town. After approximately 12 miles, you will reach the junction where you turn right onto the George Price Highway. Continue on the George Price Highway for about 5.5 miles. You will see Old Belize on your right-hand side. Look for signage indicating the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Old Belize from Sarteneja using public transportation, take a local bus heading towards Belize City from the nearest bus stop. After about 30-40 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the George Price Highway junction. From there, you can either walk 5.5 miles down the highway towards Belize City or wait for another bus that travels along the highway to Old Belize. The bus fare is usually around BZD 2-5.
