If you are driving, start by heading south on the Southern Highway (the main road) from either Dangriga or Placencia. Follow the road for approximately 20 to 30 minutes until you reach the junction for the village of Hopkins. Continue past Hopkins and look for signs for the coastal road leading to the town of Punta Gorda. At the junction, take a left turn towards Punta Gorda. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at the small port town of Sittee River. Here, you will need to park your car and arrange for a water taxi to Tobacco Caye. The water taxi service can be found near the river's mouth, and the trip to Tobacco Caye will take about 30-40 minutes.
