Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the town of Dangriga, which is about 15 miles north of Angel Falls. From Dangriga, head south on the Hummingbird Highway (also known as the Southern Highway). Continue driving for approximately 26 miles until you reach Mile 26 marker on Hummingbird Highway. Look for the signs for Angel Falls Belize, which will be on your left. There is a small parking area available for visitors.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Dangriga to Belmopan. Buses leave regularly from the Dangriga bus terminal and the fare is approximately BZD 5. Once you reach Belmopan, you can catch a bus heading towards the Hummingbird Highway. Inform the driver you want to go to Mile 26 for Angel Falls. The fare for this leg is around BZD 10. Once you arrive at Mile 26, you may need to walk or hitch a ride to the entrance of Angel Falls, which is just a short distance from the highway.

• Taxi

  Alternatively, you can hire a taxi from Dangriga directly to Angel Falls. This is a more expensive option, with fares typically starting around BZD 40-60 one way. Ensure to negotiate the price before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance, making it a convenient choice if you are traveling with a group or have a lot of luggage.
