Ferries typically operate from early morning until late afternoon, with the cost being around $15-$25 USD per person. Once on the mainland, head towards Belize City. From Belize City, take the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway) heading west. Continue on this highway for about 5.5 miles until you see signage for Old Belize. There will be a left turn to access the site, which is well-marked.

    For those using public transportation, take a ferry from your island (Caye Caulker or Ambergris Caye) to Belize City. Upon arrival, you can catch a bus or taxi to Old Belize. Buses leave from the main bus terminal in Belize City, and the ride to Old Belize should take around 15-20 minutes, costing approximately $2-$3 USD. Ask the driver to drop you off at Old Belize, located at 5.5 miles George Price Highway. If you prefer a taxi, it may cost around $10-$15 USD from the ferry terminal to Old Belize.
