If you're driving from Punta Gorda, head north on the Southern Highway (Hwy 1) towards the Toledo District. After approximately 20 miles, you'll reach the village of Indian Creek. Take a left turn onto the road leading to the coast. Continue straight until you reach the seaside village of New Haven. From there, park your car at the designated parking area near the dock.

To reach Abalone Caye using public transport, catch a bus from Punta Gorda to the village of Indian Creek. Buses run regularly and the fare is around BZD $2. Once you arrive in Indian Creek, you'll need to take a taxi or a bicycle taxi to the coast. The taxi ride to New Haven will cost approximately BZD $10-15. After arriving in New Haven, ask for directions to the dock where you can find boats that will take you to Abalone Caye.
