If you are driving from anywhere in the Toledo District, head north on the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway). Continue for approximately 2 hours until you reach Belize City. Once in the city, follow the signs to downtown. Government House is located at 71 Regent Street, which is on the seafront. There is limited street parking available nearby, and parking fees may apply depending on the area.
Public Transportation
To reach Government House via public transportation, you can take a bus from any location in the Toledo District to Belize City. Buses frequently depart from major towns like Punta Gorda. The trip may take about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at the Belize City bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or walk to Government House at 71 Regent Street, which is a short distance away. Taxis are available outside the terminal and will cost around $5-$10 BZD to reach the destination.
