From San Ignacio, drive south on the Western Highway (Hummingbird Highway) towards Belmopan. After about 25 minutes, turn left onto the road leading to the village of Springfield. Continue driving for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the trailhead for the 1000 Foot Falls. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as the last part of the road can be bumpy. Parking is available near the trailhead.

From San Ignacio, take a bus heading towards Belmopan. After about 25 minutes, get off at the junction to the village of Springfield. From there, you can take a taxi or a local shuttle (if available) to the trailhead of 1000 Foot Falls. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes and may cost around $10-15 BZD.
