If you are driving from San Ignacio, head east on the George Price Highway (Hwy 1) for about 10 miles until you reach the junction at the Belize River. Take a left turn onto the Bullet Tree Road and follow it for approximately 7 miles. After crossing the bridge at Bullet Tree Falls, continue straight until you reach the junction for the road leading to Barton Creek (look for signs). Follow the signs for about 3 miles until you arrive at Barton Creek Cave Reserve. Parking is available at the entrance.

From San Ignacio, take a bus or a shared taxi heading towards Belmopan. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Barton Creek junction. This ride will cost approximately BZD 5-10. Once you reach the junction, you will need to walk approximately 3 miles along the dirt road to reach Barton Creek Cave Reserve. It is advisable to ask locals for directions if unsure.
