If you're traveling by car, start from the center of San Ignacio. Drive south on the Western Highway (Hummingbird Highway) for about 5 miles. After you pass the San Ignacio Resort Hotel, take a left turn onto Chial Road. Continue straight for about 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Belize Botanic Gardens on your right. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Belize Botanic Gardens via public transportation, take a local bus from San Ignacio Terminal heading towards Santa Elena. The bus ride costs approximately BZD 1.50. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Chial Road. Once you arrive, walk about 0.5 miles down Chial Road towards the gardens. The entrance will be on your left.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from San Ignacio. The fare should be around BZD 10-15 for a one-way trip. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Belize Botanic Gardens on Chial Road.
