    If you are traveling by car, start from San Ignacio town center. Head southwest on Burns Ave towards W. Ford Young Drive. Continue straight onto W. Ford Young Drive. You will see signs for Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve. The entrance is located at coordinates 17.1459623, -89.0739844. There is no entrance fee for the reserve, but parking is available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a local bus from the San Ignacio bus terminal heading towards Benque Viejo del Carmen. Inform the driver you want to get off at Cahal Pech. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the archaeological reserve. The fare is approximately BZD 1-2. From the bus stop, walk approximately 500 meters to the entrance of the reserve.

    If you are already in San Ignacio and prefer to walk, head towards W. Ford Young Drive from the town center. The archaeological reserve is approximately a 15-20 minute walk (about 1 km) from the center.
