Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from any location in Western Belize, you should head towards the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway). Once on the Southern Highway, proceed south until you see the junction for the Stann Creek District. At the junction, take the right turn onto the Southern Highway towards Dangriga. Continue driving for approximately 20 miles until you reach the town of Dangriga. In Dangriga, turn left onto the road toward Hopkins Village. Continue on this road for about 4 miles. Look for Sittee River Road on your left, and follow it until you reach Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort. Make sure to have cash for potential tolls or parking fees along the way.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Western Belize to Dangriga. Buses frequently operate along major routes, and the fare is generally low (around $5-$10 BZD). Once you arrive in Dangriga, you can take a local taxi or a shuttle service to Hopkins Village. The taxi fare from Dangriga to Hopkins is approximately $20-$30 BZD. After reaching Hopkins, ask the driver for directions to Sittee River Road. From there, it's a short walk or you can arrange for a local taxi to take you directly to Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort.

• Airport Transfer

  If you are arriving by air, the nearest airport is the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE). You can take a domestic flight to Dangriga Airport from BZE. Upon arrival at Dangriga Airport, you can use a pre-arranged transfer service or a taxi to reach Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort. The transfer will take about 30 minutes and costs around $30-$40 BZD. Make sure to arrange your transfer in advance to ensure a smooth arrival.
