If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Orange Walk. Head south on the Philip Goldson Highway (Hwy 9) towards Belize City. After approximately 16 miles, turn right onto the road marked for Water Bank. Follow this road until you reach the village of Water Bank. Continue straight until you see signs for Lamanai Archaeological Reserve. There may be a small entrance fee for parking at the reserve.

To reach Lamanai by public transportation, catch a bus from Orange Walk to the town of Tower Hill. This trip costs around BZD 2-3 and takes about 30 minutes. From Tower Hill, you will need to take a taxi to the village of Water Bank, which should cost you around BZD 20-25. Once you are in Water Bank, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you to the Lamanai Archaeological Reserve.
