Car
If you're traveling by car from the town of San Ignacio in Western Belize, take the George Price Highway (Western Highway) heading east towards Belize City. The drive is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Belize City, continue straight on the highway until you reach the city center. Look for signs directing you towards downtown. Turn onto Eve Street, and the Museum of Belize will be located at 5 Eve St on your left. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check local signs for any parking fees.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Museum of Belize from San Ignacio by public transportation, you can catch a bus from the San Ignacio bus terminal to Belize City. Buses leave frequently, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Belize City, you will need to take a taxi or walk to the museum. If opting for a taxi, mention '5 Eve Street' to the driver. Alternatively, if walking, head towards the city center, find Eve Street, and walk approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the museum.
